Derek Wang,  Senior investment Manager

Mr. Wang has 13 years of extensive experience in banking, investment and project managment.
He joined CIVC in July 2008 and is responsible for all accounting-related issues of the fund, internal managment, and investment activities.

Prior to joining CIVC, Mr. Wang was a senior risk and credit manager at the Bank of China for 8 years, leading a 9 people team for review and valuation of loan projects, providing risk assessments and project DD reports. Mr. Wang was a member of the bank's Risk and Credit Management Committee.

He recived his MBA degree at the Univesity of British Columbia in Canada, and obtained his first VC industry experience in "Mcin Investment".

Mr. Wang is a CMA (Certified Management Accountant) and Level II candidiate of CFA and he recieved his bachelor degree from Xi'an Jiaotong Univesity, majoring in international accounting, and graduated in 1995.
